Michelle V. Pierce joined the University of Wyoming Extension in 2015 as the Northeast Area UW Community Development Educator. Based out of Gillette, WY, she serves five counties: Campbell, Crook, Johnson, Sheridan and Weston.
With over sixteen years of experience in teaching, training and developing curriculum in Personal Finance, Business Management and Marketing. Michelle offers trainings in Financial Literacy, Leadership building, and facilitates group processes for a wide variety of business topics.
A native of Wyoming, Michelle has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming in Administration of Justice. She holds a secondary teaching certificate in Business Education with emphasis in Technology and Marketing from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. As well as a Masters of Education in Educational Administration from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. Since 2000, Michelle was employed by the Campbell County School District in Gillette, WY as a substitute, junior high/high school Business teacher.
