My area of focus is with volunteer management guiding over 230 Extension Master Gardener with teaching best management practices in various areas of horticulture, storm water management, and integrated pest management. I'm a co-founders of the Nebraska Pollinator Habitat Certification. I serve on the Bellevue Tree Board and Metro Community College HLSM advisory board. I am also tree risk assessment qualified certified arborist through the international Society of Arboriculture.

Scott has two Bachelors of Science, one in Biology (emphasis in Botany, Ecology and Environmental Science) and second in Environmental Geology from Northwest Missouri State University. He earned his Master of Agriculture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
