Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent

William Lovett is a University of Georgia Cooperative Extension faculty member. He is the Agriculture and Natural Resources agent in Bacon County, Georgia. Will received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia. After graduation Will worked in the animal nutrition industry for five (5) years. Will specialized in Dairy production.After leaving the animal nutrition industry, Will spent fifteen (15) years managing a Dairy farm in southeast Georgia. Will has been a University of Georgia Cooperative Extension agent since July of 2013.  He is currently assigned to Bacon County, Georgia, known as Georgia’s Blueberry capital.  Bacon County is a diversified agricultural county with Blueberries, Row Crops, Forage and Forestry as leading crops.  Will is a member of UGA’s Forage Team and a regular contributor to the Forage Team Newsletter.  He has an active role in Blueberry research conducted in Bacon County.
