I am a Fisheries Extension Specialist covering southeastern (Houston, Beaumont, College Station, and surrounding areas) and central (San Antonio, Austin, Waco and surrounding areas) Texas. I work to resolve issues with aquaculture and pond management for sportfishing issues. I spent 14 years in aquaculture research at Purdue University, The University of Tennessee, and the University of Arkansas System specializing in fish endocrinology, physiology, and nutrition, before becoming an Aquaculture and Fisheries Extension Specialist at Texas A&M in 2013. I have also worked in fisheries management for both the state, private, and federal sector.
