Associate Professor

Animal Science graduate of Clemson University (1979) and Texas A&M University (1982 & 1985). Graduate work in equine reproduction under the direction of Jack Kreider, Gary Potter and David Forrest. Animal Sciences faculty member at the University of Florida since October 1985. Original position State Extension Youth Livestock Specialist. Transitioned to State Extension Horse Specialist in 2002.  Carries joint teaching appointment. Courses taught include Introduction to Animal Science, Farm Animal Reproduction, Equine Reproduction practicum, Junior Seminar, Introduction to Equine Science, Equine Health Management, Form to Function, Horse Judging, Horse Enterprise Management. Served as Club advisor for Block & Bridle, Gator Collegiate Cattlewomen, Horsemen's Association, Equestrian Club.
