Blueberry plants and crown galls

Asked January 18, 2021, 7:37 PM EST

I haven't been able to find a decent photo online that is similar to what I've discovered on my potted Top Hat Wild Lowbrush blueberry plant. I suspect that it is a crown gall however I'm not quite sure. Any idea if that is the case?

Thank you for your question. Is the third photo in the following resource what you are observing? https://pnwhandbooks.org/plantdisease/host-disease/blueberry-vaccinium-corymbosum-crown-gall Let us know.

It’s actually more like the 2nd photo on that link, however it is above the soil line at the base of the stem.

That's what I was thinking but wanted to verify. Thank you!
