Dwarf reliance peach tree
I’m looking at purchasing a dwarf reliance peach tree, but have concerns that the peaches will be much much smaller than a standard tree is this usually true? I’d appreciate any information you can share regarding the dwarf versus standards. Thank you!

There might be a tendency for a peach tree, especially Reliance, on a dwarfing rootstock to set a lot of fruit. You just have to remember to thin the fruit to a proper spacing by mid to late June. The rootst
The typical spacing for later season peaches is about 8” apart. But this is averaged over a limb. If you have two peaches side by side on a branch that is 12" long, keep both. Another way to look at it is that you can have up to 2 peaches on a limb that is 8" long. This is only approximate.
