Home Garden Invasive Weed

Asked October 20, 2020, 3:09 PM EDT

I have a spreading weed in my flower beds that began 2 years ago and the roots trail underground to spread it all over. It can choke small flowers out, leaves are like small clover and the small yellow flowers bloom all summer as new sprouts up. I have attached a picture and identification and treatment methods would be most appreciated.

This plant looks like oxalis or wood sorrel. It spreads by seeds and is hard to get rid of. Pull it by hand and destroy what you pull. Don’t let the pulled plants lay on the ground. It can be hard to get rid of.
