flying insect identification found on house plants
Hello, Can you please identify this flying insect that seems to be coming from my house plants that include orchids, but also other plant species? These were caught on a stick'em trap on I think a miltonia orchid but they seem to be flying around all of the plants. Is there a way to rid them short of throwing out all of the plants? What is the least toxic means of controlling them? Thank you for your help. Bob

These insects appear to be fungus gnats. If so ,that indicates the growing 'room' and/ or growing media are a bit too moist/humid.
Since you mentioned miltonia, are you growing in a greenhouse?
Please send an image or two of the growing space/room/house.
