Winterizing a fig tree.

Please give instructions on how to winterize a three year old fig tree. Thank you. Eileen Sellers

Hi, I have never tried it but I know folks who bring it into their garage or cellar or somewhere else where it doesn't freeze. Other people dig up half the root system and bend the plant on its side and cover it with leaves and soil.
