is asparagus ferm invasive in MD?

Hi, I just saw asparagus fern in a botanical garden and liked it so much I was thinking about growing it. However I googled and at least in Florida it is listed as invasive. Is it considered invasive in Maryland? Thank you, John

No, it is not invasive. It is a tropical plant and cannot survive outside in the winter here, so it has no chance to become invasive.
