This popped up in my garden near my drainage. Flies, butterflies, bees, hornets all gravitate to it. Can you identify? Ryan

This is a Eupatorium species and appears to most closely resemble late-flowering thoroughwort (Eupatorium serotinum). https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/view/4278
This species is native to Maryland and the eastern half of the United States. It is a valuable plant for native bees and other pollinating insects. There is more information about this species in the following links.
