Help needed to ID this plant - Is this a viburnum - what kind?

Asked September 16, 2020, 9:15 PM EDT

I am a retired Master Gardener with the Penn State Extension. I moved from PA to New Buffalo, Michigan in July. My new yard already has lots of native ferns, trees, shrubs and sedges. I took photos today (Sept. 16, 2020) and need help identifying shrubs and a perennial that is blooming now. I am sending a separate email for each separate plant. I am very grateful for any help you and provide to me about the plants in my yard.

This plant looks like a viburnum to me, but I don't know what kind. What do you think?

There are several different varieties of viburnum. This is possibly an American cranberry-bush viburnum, but I cannot give a positive ID. Unless this is a new purchase, the plants does seem a bit small for a viburnum.
