Broad Leaf Red and Pink Berry Plant

Asked September 10, 2020, 3:57 PM EDT

We have been trying to identify this plant that grows in our yard to no avail. The average height of the plant is two feet tall with the berries weight taking the height from vertical in the summer to horizontal in the fall. I believe all the berries turn red later in the fall season. The picture of the berries is a close up. Any idea what this plant is?

Hello,
I believe this plant is called False Solomon Seal. It is a native perennial. Stems can be up to 30+ inches long and appear arching. False Solomon Seal has flowers and fruits that complement the leaves. The berries turn a gorgeous red in fall with golden leaves.
