What are the little, smooth, greenish caterpillars with a medium-dark stripe that are all over right now?

This could be the larva of a cabbage moth. It is hard for me to tell from your picture. You could also go to pestid.msu.edu. You can send them a picture or submit a specimen. The site will tell you how to do that.
