Identify a perennial -?

What is this hardy perennial ? A native ? Is it going to flower? I am trying to decide whether to keep it. Thx.

We think this is white snakeplant, a good native perennial flower. The botanical name if Eupatorium rugosum, but used to be Algeratina altissima.

It is about to flower. If you send us photos of the flowers we can give you a definite id.
