Beetles in house
1 Response
This is a weevil, a member of the beetle family. I have difficulty seeing the pattern, but it is common for black vine weevils to sneak into houses about this time of year. They notch leaves on rhododendrons and the larvae feed on their roots. There are also many weevils which infest foodstuffs, but this does not look like that. Strawberry weevils are also common here, but have a clearly patterned back.
