My Tomatillas have hardly any Tomatillas on them. I have 3 plants. Plenty of bees. Should I give up and go buy some for canning? It is getting late into th year although September is good. There are some Tomatillas growing but not like last year.

Here is a great OSU reference for tomatoes and tomatillos. It may be redundant to you but general growing directions are available for future growing seasons since your plants have failed to fruit. It could be due to our extremely hot weather conditions or excessive nitrogen fertilizer. In any case your idea to purchase them in the store in bulk for canning sounds quite reasonable and you can enjoy observing the pollinators do their thing. Thanks for the question.
