Dill pickle bath do you have to use a pressure cooker for the bath or can you use a large pot and boil them in that

You would use a boiling water canner, which is a large pot with a fitted lid and a removable rack. The canner must be deep enough so that at least one inch of briskly boiling water will be over the tops of jars during processing. You do not need to use a pressure canner. Although you can usually use a pressure canner as a boiling water canner as long as you do not close it off and build up pressure.
