Variegated dogwood leaf browning

Asked August 27, 2020, 4:03 PM EDT

Hi,
Our Stellar Pink dogwood was planted 3 years ago. It is about 6’ tall and has only grown about an inch or two. Easy summer there has been a little bit of leaf browning at the tips. This summer, the browning is different. Any suggestions as to the cause of this problem and how to remedy?

Dogwood trees can have multiple issues, and I’m not sure what the problem with yours is yet.
A photo of the whole tree will aid with diagnosis. Additionally, describe the irrigation and sun exposure. How it was planted may help, for example was it a bare-root or container purchase? Trees planted too deeply can have problems, so a photo of the trunk at soil level is helpful.
