Impatiens

Asked August 25, 2020, 8:49 PM EDT

All the impatiens died in our large planter We took them all out and replanted some with some vincak. The impatiens died but the vinca survived. Could it be a mold? How can we get rid of it?

Hello! What a fun space. I'd never want to assume but downy mildew is a common impatient killer. This may be what you suspect is mold. I'm not sure which vinca you grew but it wouldn't be affected like the impatiens if it is downy mildew. Here is an article about it.
