Boxwood bonsai

Asked August 23, 2020, 6:07 AM EDT

I just started with bonsai and was wondering about boxwood bonsai light conditions along with other environmental factors. My apartment is in a northwest corner so I bought an LED grow light. Would this work for a boxwood bonsai? Also, if it does, how long should it be kept under an HLG 100 grow light?

Since your boxwood is considered a hardy outdoor plant it is best to replicate it's outdoor growing conditions if possible.

Environmental conditions can vary from one window to the next, however, you should try to meet the optimal light requirements for your plant.

Best of luck to you.
