Evans cherry tree problem?

Why do the leaves turn yellow on just two branches of our Evans cherry tree at this time of year?
Also this year was a bumper crop-- the heaviest we have seen in 16 years!!!

It's possible that leaves on the affected branches have been damaged by insects or disease. However, if there is no evidence of this and the leaves are yellow and without spots, check the branches and look carefully for cankers, galls, borers or other damage that might account for the premature yellowing.
