Help repotting cactus
I am housesitting for a friend and he asked if I would repot his cactus. Would you please advise what size of pot, what kind of soil I should use and if I should maintain the support sticks? Seems to me like this plant wants to hang more than stand. Thank you

Hi again Kristena, If you don't mind, I have a follow up question.
Is it better to repot this 'rat tail' cactus in a manner that it can hang, or is it ok to
repot and keep its current form, moving up vertically?

It grows naturally hanging down, and I'd suggest following nature's lead.
