Huge bee SW Portland? Asian hornet?
Is this a bee or what? If so, what kind of bee is it? I captured it in a water bottle. Has a huge stinger like thing on its rear like bee.

Below is a helpful website for identification purposes in the future. That is not the Asian Hornet and appears to be a Bald Faced Hornet or something closer to that. Check out the link and some of the look a likes. The Asian Hornet is so much bigger.
