What is the best way to control Weeds in sweet corn. Is there a Commercially viable way to grow corn without spray. Also wondering what the best way of watering. Drip or large sprinklers.

Thank you for your questions. It would be helpful to know your location, as well as the weeds you are targeting. When you say "commercially viable," do you mean cheap enough that the cost of herbicides doesn't exceed the sales of the corn? Since I don't know what herbicides are available in your area, I can offer only a general, but comprehensive, Extension article on this topic: https://fieldcrops.cals.cornell.edu/corn/weed-control-corn/ As for watering, any way to minimize evaporation is preferable, so soaker hoses, and watering in cooler times of the day is preferable. Here is another resource on that: https://cropwatch.unl.edu/corn/water Hope these are helpful. Good luck!

I am located in southern interior of British Columbia in the Okanagan valley.

Thank you. I would suggest that you contact the Master Gardener Association in your area for region-specific advice: https://www.mgabc.org/content/okanagan Good luck!
