The pattern of these holes do not match what I would expect from insects. First, the holes seem to be a lot larger on one surface of the blind than on the other. This is more typical of an impact that pushes a larger piece on the other surface of the blind piece. Also, the two holes do not match in position, and there is no damage on the pieces of faux wood between the 2 with holes. Furthermore, the lower hole, at least, is not uniform all the way around as I would expect from insect damage.
