Our Blueberries Need Help!

Asked July 11, 2020, 11:09 AM EDT

We are new to growing blueberries. We transplanted these bushes early spring, they seemed to thrive, and now have taken a turn. Brown spots are developing on the berries, and the leaves have holes and brown spots on them. What is the culprit and what do we need to do to preserve? Thank you!!

Follow up: Since first posting this question yesterday, I have discovered (and removed) over 20 little worms from the bushes and one or two beetles. Is this what is causing the damage? And how do I protect the bushes from this damage? Thanks!

From these pics my best guess might be Exobasidium fungus. Below is a good link with more information. You would get a more accurate diagnosis by contacting your extension office to see if they can process samples at their lab.
