Apple tree diseases?

Asked July 9, 2020, 7:48 PM EDT

Two apple trees which were newly planted this spring , they have had protective wrap around with no known damage to the trees . These canker looking spots are about size of an egg. Anythy idea what is causing it or what can be done?

High humidity and anything that impales air circulation can be contributing factors if the fungus is present in the environment.
