What is this invasive plant

Asked July 9, 2020, 3:46 PM EDT

Photos attached I spent many many hours last summer digging out this plant. It has both Usual fibrous roots and a long thinner tuber attached several inches below those. I have dug down as much as 8 inches to remove the tuber. I did not let it seed last year. I even used a pesticide available for wild mustard. Misidentified and didnt do much. I have just stopped planting in this 8x 12 area of my small backyard. Please help me get my garden back.

I think you have young bellflower. It is so hard to get rid of. Here is information: https://hennepinmastergardeners.org/invasion-of-the-creeping-bellflower/
