Black Hills Spruce brown tips
We can't diagnose the problem by viewing the photos. However, based upon what we can see, the tree may be affected by tip blight. Please consider the following and see what you think:
For a certain diagnosis we recommend asking a forester or certified arborist to evaluate the trees' condition onsite. Or prepare and send samples of the affected stems to the University of Minnesota Plant Disease Clinic.
