Plant ID request

Asked July 6, 2020, 1:07 PM EDT

These are appearing in area site prepped and seeded with Xerxes pollinator mix for my region. About 6" with tiny white flower. Possibly spread by rizome. If not overly competitive and native no problem but if otherwise I need to get busy. Thanks

I believe this is Croton glandulosus, in the Euphorbia family. It's a native plant, so hopefully it will behave itself! https://www.wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=CRGL2

Alice,. Many thanks. Accidentally I posted my question twice and both answers agreed. This is spreading madly through the 1/8 acre meadow just started this year. Also elsewhere that I'm not concerned about. I'm not sure how much effort I should take against it in the meadow which is first season.
