dieing red oaks

There are three red oaks in my yard that have been looking lass leafy the last couple of years. They have none or very little leafs this year.

Thanks for the question. These trees look pretty sad and are appear to be in decline although they don't seem that old. A certified arborist could help determine the cause (https://www.treesaregood.org/findanarborist). These tree will most likely not recover. Oak wilt is much quicker so that is most likely not the issue. There are various reasons for the decline like weather, insects, construction, soil compaction, etc. Unfortunately, the pictures do not have enough information to determine what is going on.
