Tree/Bush Identification

We are in a new neighborhood and have several of these in our front yard. Not sure what they are or what they need; as far as trimming, fertilizer requirements. Thank you!

These are boxwood shrubs at first glance. Consider sending a photo of just one clipped stem, so leaf shape and arrangement is clearly visible. Or, check out these resources and see if my guess is correct.
OSU landscape plants page, with cultivar listing on the right. Photos for ID will be helpful. https://landscapeplants.oregonstate.edu/plants/buxus-sempervirens

You’ll find information online about pruning boxwood. This one from U of Maryland is a good one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3i8mcoKapeY

Thank you! The links are great!

I took a picture of the leaf structure. Hopefully this will help.

This is Buxus, commonly called boxwood. They are usually gown as a low hedge. Perhaps these were going to be kept sheared as tall pillars. You’ll be able to reshape them as you desire.
