warm season grass/turf
Good morning,
I have a section of lawn that needs some attention. I don't want Bluegrass as it uses too much water in the summer, and the piece is too shady for buffalo grass (my first choice). There are three large shade trees overlooking the section in question. What is the best turf/seed that I can use under these conditions?

Hi,
From Extension research, it seems your best bet is to plant fine fescue--it is shade tolerant and doesn't need copious waterings to survive.
