I had a 25’ tall chokecherry and an unidentified shrub taken out 6 weeks ago. The chokecherry had what I thought was blight. I now have about 100 s.f. of shoots coming up that are also sick. What is it and how do I get rid of all of them? They are partially under pine trees I want to save. What precautions do I need to take? I also have strawberry’s and roses.

That looks more like aphid leaf curl then a blight disease turns the leaves brown and dead! you can use a paint brush dipped in a herbicide with glyphosate that you can paint the leaves so it kills the roots of the chokecherry. It doesn't spread in the soil so other plants nearby will be safe.
