We have a large English walnut tree, it now has a disease in which the upper part of the leaves has a pock on it and the under side has a scale corresponding to the pock, what is it and how do I treat it?

Multnomah County Oregon

A potential cause of pock marks on leaves is the walnut blister mite. Does the description you are seeing match the information on the link?

If yes, there's not much you can do about it and action is not recommended.

Or, do you think there is another potential cause?

Good luck.
