Invasive unidentified plant
We cannot make an accurate identification. A possibility may be Lycopus sp.
An important identifying feature are the flowers. It would be helpful to let the plant flower and then send us photos for more information.
Here is some information from MD Biodiversity https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/viewChecklist.php?genus=Lycopus
We wanted to get more information from you. Are there any Aucuba japonica shrubs growing nearby or in the area. If so, these may be seedlings. We found that Aucuba is on an invasive watch list in VA. Keep any eye out for flowers, berry-like drupe, etc.
and send us photos.
