Thank you for your question. It appears that the pod has a hole in it, so the pest is one able to chew. Remove any infested pods, leaves or other plant structures and destroy them. Neem oil is organic and relatively safe when used per label instructions. It does need more frequent applications than other pesticides. Just take care not to spray on insects and other pollinators. Hope this is helpful. Good luck!
