Cactus identification

Asked June 19, 2020, 11:28 AM EDT

I'd appreciate help identifying this cactus. It has never bloomed. Each arm has four or more ridges running it's length. My guess os some kind of disocactus but I've never been able to find an exact match. Thank you!

Thank you for your question. We believe this is a Rhipsalis species, native to some parts of Florida. Here are the two subspecies: https://florida.plantatlas.usf.edu/Genus.aspx?id=1046

Its identification will be easier once it flowers, but it probably will not unless it has direct sun. Here are some cactus care instructions: https://www.saddleback.edu/faculty/zjohnson/HORTICULTURE/Cactus%20and%20Succulents.pdf

Good luck!
