Ground ivy is a member of the mint family and is not easy to control. If this weed or weeds have taken over 50% of your lawn, you may want to consider lawn renovation late summer to early fall. https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/lawn-renovation-and-overseeding
Maintaining a healthy, dense lawn can help to reduce its spread. https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/tips-lawn-weed-prevention-and-management

If it is in a landscape bed, pull it out.
