Irises never bloom

Hello can you help me get my irises to bloom?? They grow foliage but never flower!

When were they planted? It often takes two or three years for newly planted iris roots to flower.

On the other hand, old iris roots that haven't been divided often become so crowded they stop blooming.

Iris that don't get enough sun fail to bloom or bloom sparsely.

What we have said is based on the assumption that your question pertains to bearded iris but these principles also apply to Siberian iris.

they bloomed beautifully the first year and then nothing the second year!
