Possible Cutworm ID?

Asked June 3, 2020, 5:18 PM EDT

Hi!! When we were tilling our garden we kept finding these little guys and I'm getting conflicting answers on what they are. Im pretty confident the white one is a June bug grub, but is the other some type of cutworm?

Thank you for your help!

There are several different cutworms belonging to different moths. but damage and control is the same. Tilling your garden spot both spring and fall will help. They usually only damage seedlings. A physical collar of aluminum foil , paper or cardboard can be used. several inches above and below the soil. If you google
gardening knowhow, com and search cutworms there is an excellent article about cutworms an their control,
