Bug on grape leaves

Asked June 1, 2020, 11:01 AM EDT

Was out taking care of the grapes and noticed this damage and upon further inspection found these lil tiny Caterpillar looking things that seemed to be the culprit Is this a big worry and if so what are best practices for taking care of them Thank you as always!

Hi- this is the larva of the grape flea beetle. The adults that preceded the larva feed on buds, so are considered a bigger problem than larval feeding on leaves. Typically, no control is recommended for these larvae.
