What is this shrub
Can you tell me what this shrub is? A former neighbor planted it between our yards and I really like it. It’s in mostly shade and about 3 feet tall with a subtle white flower.

It is a variegated dogwood. I can't tell from the bark, but it is either red twig or yellow twig dogwood depending on the color of the bark.
The bark looks brown to me. Heres a photo
