Yew Yellowing
My Yew has yellow needles. Is this normal, or am I looking at a problem. I've never noticed this extent of yellowing before. Hope you can help. Sorry I don't have a pic. kim

Some yew issues come to mind but digital photos sure would be useful.
First, turn over the needles to look for cottony camellia (cottony taxus) scale.
The following is information about it on our website, https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/cottony-camellia-scale-shrubs
Has anything changes concerning drainage around the yew. They do not like to sit in wet soil.
The third issue is soil pH. Yews are evergreens that prefer more neutral soil pH. Consider testing the soil in the bed.
