Box woods disease?

Asked May 27, 2020, 4:21 PM EDT

My box woods have white specks all over the leaves. Some of the leaves are turning brown. Any ideas what it could be?

Without a picture it's hard to tell what could be wrong with your boxwoods. Mites can leave extremely small necrotic specks where they have fed, leafminers will cause necrotic spots and plump leaves, phyllids leave waxy white fluff behind. Before attempting to treat your boxwoods, you need to ID the problem. I've attached a couple articles that might help you determine what exactly your pest is.
