emerald green arborvitaes drop foliage that is still a he

I planted emerald green arborvitae’s in March. They were in 15 gallon pots And about 5 feet tall when I planted them. They look healthy, but are starting to they are drop foliage some healthy green, some browning looking foliage. I live in Mendocino on the Northern California Coast.

Thank you for your question. Most plants fail after planting due to incorrect planting methods. Roots not separated or pruned; roots dry out due to inadequate watering before and/or after planting; or compacted soil. Obviously, I have no way of knowing any of this.
