Cedar rust
I’ve got a 15ft cedar tree with cedar Apple rust. Its at the stage there’s the orange tentacled blobs. Do I cut it down and burn it, or spray it with a fungicide? If I spray it, I’ll need to know what to use. Thank you!

While unusual and ugly looking, the blobs do no significant damage to either host. While a fungus, fungicides will not control it. Pruning out the blobs is helpful, if reachable. You will likely see it again in succeeding years unless one of the co hosts is removed. Read more here:
