Pest control products

Asked May 12, 2020, 6:08 PM EDT

I live in Union, OR and would like to find a good way to control pests. I usually get worms in apples and pears every year. I have expanded my garden to include tomatoes, bell peppers, squashes, cucumbers, strawberries, eggplant, and salad vegetables. I have all raised beds.

Thank you for your question. Most home gardeners who want to control ‘worms’ are actually targeting larvae of other pests. Here is an OSU orchard pest control article that may help identify your problem(s);and treatment; https://catalog.extension.oregonstate.edu/ec631 If you can identify the pest you have, you can find methods to control it. You don’t indicate if or what problems you have with vegetable gardening, but this may help: https://catalog.extension.oregonstate.edu/em9027 Good luck!
